How do I issue a violation?

Issue a violation for a resident parked improperly or for a guest who has abused the rules or isn't registered with Parking Attendant.

How do I issue a violation?

  1. Log into your Community Boss Account - choose Field Agent.

  2. Select the Lookup field at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Enter the license plate number for the vehicle in violation of the parking rules. If a vehicle does not have a license plate, the license plate field placeholder should be VIN + xxxx (the last four digits of the vehicle's VIN number).

    1. NOTE: Some communities use the last five digits of the vehicle's VIN number.

  4. Select Record Violation and enter the required information - Add notes to include additional details - don’t forget to take photos and enter the Community Boss Warning violation sticker number. (You do not need to be using Community Boss Warning stickers to issue violations, simply leave the field blank).

Keep in mind, any vehicle issued a violation with the Community Boss Warning sticker will be able to view all of the violation details added by the issuer, including the photos and notes.

NOTE: Community Boss Violation stickers and tow company stickers are most easily removed with rubbing alcohol or Goo-gone brand remover.
