Boss Tags are the simple and elegant solution to fair and accessible amenity use in your community!

Residents can easily access the amenities and areas they need to, while enforcement is even more pain-free with a physical tag linked to the digital record of amenity booking and access.

Read on to learn how they work, and how to set them up for use in your community.

All About Boss Tags

Boss Tags are the second version of our Pool Passes, but better! Our new tags are smaller, more durable, and NFC-powered, allowing validation with a simple tap from a smartphone or a QR code scan. Four styles are available to suit the community needs: Pool Pass, Amenity Pass, Fitness Pass, and Resident Pass.

Boss Tags act as an easy visual identifier for quick validation, much like a Smart Decal. Every Boss Tag comes with a metal keyring so they’re convenient for residents to carry and show for validation. This is especially useful around a pool where they may not have their phones out.

Setting Up & Assigning Boss Tags

  • Navigate to the Amenities page in Manager

  • Under Pool Pass (or the appropriate amenity pass), select Add... and then the pass

  • Scan, tap, or fill-in the information for the Boss Tag™ and the relevant pass information

  • Select Save and your pass is ready!

Variations and Use

Pool Pass - Used for pool access and easy enforcement

Amenity Pass - For accessing any amenities or rentable spaces at your community

Fitness Pass - For gym and fitness center access

Resident Pass - A general-use Boss Tag for residents of your community, such as door or locker access (compatible with RemoteLock)

Reordering Boss Tags

Reordering is simple. If you need more Boss Tags than you received at setup, you may reorder more through our web store here.

Deactivating a Boss Tag: If a Boss Tag is lost or stolen, it can be deactivated from within Manager under the Amenities column (Options > Revoke).
